inSPYre: Guidelines of Use and Privacy Policy

Welcome to inSPYre, an online platform designed, updated, and maintained by St Spyridon College to support teaching and learning, as well as the broader operational needs of the College and communication with the St Spyridon College community. By accessing and using inSPYre, you agree to comply with the Guidelines of Use and Privacy Policy outlined below, which constitute an agreement between you and St Spyridon College.

Acceptance of Guidelines of Use:

  • You acknowledge that inSPYre may only be used as a resource to support teaching and learning, operational activities of the College, and communication to the broader College community.
  • You consent to the Administrators of inSPYre monitoring the use of the platform and its content.
  • You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your unique username (UserID/username) and password for inSPYre, and not share them with any other person.
  • You consent to the collection, storage, use, and dissemination of your personal information in accordance with the St Spyridon College Privacy Policy.
  • You agree to access and use inSPYre in accordance with the St Spyridon College Acceptable Use of Technology Policy.
  • Breaches to the Guidelines of Use of inSPYre may result in further action being taken by the College or referral to other regulatory bodies.
  • You agree that changes may be made to the Guidelines of Use and Privacy Policy, and it is your responsibility to stay updated with these changes.

Use of inSPYre:

  • Users of inSPYre, including Staff and Students, are provided with unique account credentials (UserID/Username & password) that determine their level of access to information.
  • Users of inSPYre should immediately notify the Administrator if their credentials have been compromised, misused, or forgotten in order to provide alternative credentials for secure and ongoing use of the service.
  • Users of inSPYre are fully responsible for all activity and content under their account credentials.
  • You are not allowed to access the account of or impersonate any other user of inSPYre.
  • Information contributed by users to inSPYre is identifiable to your credentials by default, including the time and date.
  • St Spyridon College reserves the right to make changes to or terminate the inSPYre service at any time.
  • Users are not permitted to bypass restriction measures within inSPYre as determined necessary by the Administrator.

Content in inSPYre:

  • Users of inSPYre must ensure that all content complies with Copyright Law, and contributors and users are not permitted to copy or redistribute material from inside inSPYre without express permission from the author/contributor.
  • Users of inSPYre are aware that St Spyridon College takes no responsibility for the loss of content caused in connection with the use of the service, although reasonable efforts will be made to restore content where possible.
  • Users of inSPYre accept that the Administrator reserves the right to change or remove out-of-date content.

Third-Party Services:

  • Users of inSPYre are aware that the service may contain or provide access to third-party websites or services that have different Terms and Conditions.
  • St Spyridon College does not endorse third-party services and is not responsible for the accuracy or any other aspect of the content provided by such services.
